Training for Student Veterinary Nurses

What we have to offer Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs)

• Willows Veterinary Centre & Referral Service is an Approved Training Practice for SVNs - this status is awarded by the RCVS
• We are also an RCVS Practice Standards Scheme Tier 2 practice
• The practice has an excellent small animal case load allowing SVN's to meet the required RCVS occupational standards
• We pride ourselves in having staff who enjoy good team work and have great team spirit
• Trainees are given first class teaching and training support in a safe clinical environment with comprehensive training resources including: in-house CPD, library facilities, broadband internet access and a quiet area to study
• We have highly qualified veterinary surgeons, Diploma nurses, Degree Nurses, Qualified VN'S and experienced receptionists who are all happy to give new members of staff and trainees the help and support that they need
• Students have regular assessments and appraisals with an emphasis on fair relationships between assessors and students
